For Ferry information please call 1-888-223-3779, or on the Internet at http://bcferries.bc.ca/ferries We would really like to meet you the night before your tour departs. Please call ahead and let us know your estimated arrival time. We would like to give you instructions on packing for the trip and will give you some water proof bags to put your gear in. If there were any specific items that we are supplying for you such as a sleeping pad please remind us, to be sure that you do get everything that you require.
DRIVING from Nanaimo take Highway 4 West. It should lake 2 1/2 to 3 hours to reach Ucluelet. Some of the towns along the way are Parksville, Coombs, Port Alberni. Drive through Port Alberni on Johnstone Road, go to the end of Johnstone Road and turn right on River Road. You can fuel up at the Petro Canada or the Tempo on River Road. These are the last service stations until you get to Ucluelet. Once in Ucluelet please telephone us, or drop by our Booking office & Kayaking Center. Follow Penninsula road through town until you pass the Ucluelet Elementary School. Turn left on Marine Drive & go down 2 blocks. We located at the end of Marine at 1167 Helen Road.
